DTA TA 501 Dismounted Maneuver Thinning
Abstract
The objective of this scope of work is to implement the INRMP to provide healthy and resilient environments that are sustainable high quality settings for military training and to protect and enhance biological diversity and ecological health on all Department of Defense (DoD) lands, and to ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations. Specific objectives that apply to these projects include: Manage sustainable ecosystems Manage forest resources Repair, revegetate and enhance training areas Protect soil, water and vegetative resources by preventing or mitigating soil erosion through conservation practices Maintain/manage perennial vegetation to support mission requirements and enhance stewardship
