FWA Artillery Firing Point Well 10 Reconfiguration

Abstract

The objective of this scope of work is to implement the Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan to provide healthy and resilient environments that are sustainable high quality settings for military training and to protect and enhance biological diversity and ecological health on all DoD lands, and to ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations. Specific objectives that apply to this project include:  Manage sustainable ecosystems  Protect and enhance wetlands and watersheds  Repair, revegetate and enhance training areas  Protect soil, water and vegetative resources by preventing or mitigating soil erosion through conservation practices  Improve water quality and increase long and short-term effectiveness of land use for military training purposes  Maintain / manage perennial vegetation to support mission requirements and enhance stewardship
