FORT WAINWRIGHT MUNICIPAL SEPARATE STORM SEWER SYSTEM MS4
Abstract
The objective of the public education and outreach MCM is to educate USAG FWA’s residents, tenants, and employees about the negative impacts that polluted storm water discharges have on local water bodies. Many common behaviors such as littering, waste disposal, pet waste, automobile washing, vehicle maintenance, and lawn care have the potential to contaminate storm water. Efforts to control storm water pollution must, therefore, consider individual, household, and public behaviors. This measure it intended to give the public clear guidance on steps and specific actions that it should and, in some cases, must take to reduce its storm water pollution potential.
