Fusion of Data and Tracks in Sensor Networks

Abstract

The objective of this project is to investigate the track segment association problem for tracking with targets employing evasive move-stop-move maneuvers. The method to be developed will be capable of stitching both Òregular" broken tracks and broken tracks due to targets move-stop-move maneuvers to improve track continuity. The proposed research will also investigate the optimal asynchronous track-to-track fusion for distributed tracking systems with both asynchronous sampling times and delayed tracks.
