A Proposal for Support of the IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference, 2015, Boulder, Colorado
Abstract
The requested funds from ARO were used to promote participation by students from US universities which are doing work relevant to the interests of the Army. In addition, a best student paper prize and a hardware demo competition were funded, to encourage student participation further. Local students at the University of Colorado in the co-PIÕs groups were hosting the competitions, while an Awards Committee consisting of a mix of academics, industry and government was put in place to determine the winners, taking into account relevance to the Army.
