Electronic Relaxation and Doping in Smal Gap Colloidal Quantum Dots

Abstract

HgTe and HgSe quantum dots are chemically modified with a shell of CdS. The structural, optical and thermal stability properties are investigated. Photovoltaic detectors based on HgTe colloidal quantum dot films are investigated and display background limited detectivity at cryogenic temperatures.
