IEEE International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology - ELNANO-2015
Abstract
The conference is annual forum, which provides opportunity to discuss research topics between the Ukrainian and international scientists and engineers in the field of electronics, nanotechnologies, biomedical applications, signal processing, and electronic systems. Traditional venue of the conference is the National Technical University of Ukraine ÒKiev Polytechnic Institute,Ó in Kiev. It is organized jointly by the IEEE Ukraine Section and several IEEE Chapters of this Section. The conference will be held on April 21-24, 2015. Both well known professionals and students traditionally participate in the conference. Attendance is estimated between 120 and 150 participants from Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, South Korea, S. Africa, the EU, and the USA. Objective of ELNANO-2015 is to provide a chance for the Ukrainian researchers to meet their Ukrainian and Western colleagues. Its characteristic feature is a stronger emphasis on the mathematical, physical and technological aspects of research and development, together with search for applications significant for todayÕs Ukraine. The technical program traditionally consists of invited lectures and contributed oral and poster papers. The previous conferences were successfully held in Kiev since 1981 as all-USSR meetings and then as Ukrainian national conferences with Russian and Ukrainian as working languages. Starting from 2013, the International Conference ELNANO adopted English as single working language and gained support of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). ELNANO-2014 was held in the complicated circumstances of April 2014 and was supported by ERO and ONRG. The Program of ELNANO-2015 will cover the following topics: À Nanostructures and nanotechnology in electronics À Components of micro and nanoelectronics À Micro and nanosystems in electronics À Mathematical simulation of electronic components, devices and systems À Electronic nanotechnology in biomedicine À Biocomponents of nanosystems À Nanobiosystems simulation À Electronics for monitoring, diagnostics and treatment À Digital processing and analysis of biomedical signals À Interactions between physical fields and biological object À Smart grids and microgrids À Analysis, modeling, optimization and simulation in power electronics À Control methods and real time operation of power converters À Modern technology and computation techniques À Energy efficient buildings À Automotive electronics À Airborne electronic systems À Acoustic-electronic systems À Radar systems and signal processing À UWB electronic systems À Remote sensing À Multistatic electronic systems À Polarimetric and Doppler techniques The conference will be held at the National Technical University of Ukraine ÒKiev Polytechnic InstituteÓ (NTUU-KPI) in Kiev. The average temperature in April ranges from +13 to +17 C. The sessions will be held in the premises of the University Library, where conference rooms and presentation facilities are available. Kiev is the capital city of Ukraine and has population of about 3.5 million. It is famous for mighty Dnieper River flowing across the city. The major international airport Boryspil is at the distance of 20 km from the city center. It is connected by daily flights with all major world capitals and other cities in Europe, Asia, and America. Invited and regular papers accepted to the program will be published in the Proceedings and distributed to the participants of the meeting. The conference Proceedings of ELNANO-2015 will be submitted to the IEEEXplore Digital Library and then indexed in the Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases (Scopus, Google Scholar, etc).
