2015 Laser Diagnostics in Combustion Gordon Research Conference and Gordon Research Seminar

Abstract

The objective of this grant is to provide support to the 2015 Laser Diagnostics in Combustion Gordon Research Seminar in association with the Gordon Research Conference. This international conference helps to build a network of researchers among a broad range of technical areas within the combustion and combustion diagnostics community. This conference is one of very few that focuses on fundamental aspects combustion laser diagnostics. It brings together chemists, physicists, and engineers to discuss topics ranging from the development and application of techniques for non-intrusive flow and scalar measurements, soot and particulate diagnostics, surface measurements related to combustion, and new laser and sensing technologies that lead to new or improved diagnostic capabilities.
