Ionic Liquids in Polymer Design: From Energy to Health
Abstract
Funds are requested to provide support for the "Ionic Liquids in Polymer Design: From Energy to Health" symposium to be held at the American Chemical Society s 2015 Fall National Meeting. The requested support will cover a portion of the meeting registration and travel costs for invited speakers only. The proposed symposium will feature seminars from a number of experts in the field who will discuss cutting-edge research results that enable an enhanced fundamental understanding of materials properties, microstructure, and resulting performance. Topics to be covered include: Polymerized Ionic Liquids, Synthesis and Processing, Structure-Property Relationships, Energy Applicatins, and Health Applications
