Fifth International Conference on Attosecond Physics

Abstract

A conference on attosecond physics, hosted by the institut national de la recherche scientifique ofVarcnnes, Quebec, Canada is the objective of this proposal. This conference will bring together scientific researchers from around the world working in the area of attosecond physics. Specific topics of interest include: 1.) generation, characterization, and application of few-cycle pulses, 2.) generation and charactherization of isolated attosecond pulses, 3.) ultrafast phenomena probed by attosecond technologies, 4.) high harmonic generation spectroscopy, and 5.) electronic and nuclear dynamics in strong fields. The conference will take place over a 5-day period in July 2015 near Quebec City, Canada.
