Laser-Driven Radiation Sources for Nuclear Applications
Abstract
Nuclear isotopes are known to store considerably higher energy density per unit mass than chemicals. The proposed Topical Meeting aims at reviewing the current status of energy conversion from the nuclear isotopes, as well as potential use of nuclear isomers for energy storage.
