2105 Quantum Control of Light & Matter Gordon Research Conference
Abstract
A conference of 200 scientists on quantum control of light and matter is the objective of this effort. The conference will help to maximize the impact of developments in quantum control on other fields, such as quantum information and ultrafast spectroscopy, by generating and dispersing new ideas in the broader multi-disciplinary community which includes physicists, chemists, mathematicians, and engineers. This proposal requests support of $15,000 for the Gordon Research Conference on Quantum Control of Light and Matter, which is to be held from 02 to 07 August 2015 at Mount Holyoak College in Massachusetts.
