Quantitative Forecasting for Renewable Power Generation: Fuzzy Logic Approach

Abstract

In this research study, we will extend available stochastic methodologies to address both stochastic and linguistic uncertainties. Fuzzy logic theory is an effective tool to represent linguistic uncertainties in modeling. Therefore, by fuzzification of stochastic methodologies we will account for a broader range of uncertainties in the forecast and consequently in grid/microgrid operations.
