Communication with a Learning Collaborative Problem Solving Agent

Abstract

We are developing a collaborative problem solving (CPS) model, where agents agree to a common goal, jointly explore solutions, examine tradeoffs, teach each other skills as necessary, evaluate progress, identify and resolve obstacles, and ultimately achieve, revise or abandon the joint goal. The first phase of the program focuses on the architecture for the overall CPS model, in connection with the three use cases (blocks world, biocuration, collaborative story telling).
