Generalization of AMO Physics: Non-equilibrium dynamics in optical lattices

Abstract

The major goal of this work is to better understand the dynamics of non-equilbrium quantum systems. This will be accomplished along several fronts, including the study of thermalization in nearly integrable systems, the study of the time scales associated with dimensional crossovers, and the study of how correlations evolve after a quantum quench.
