2016 Telluride Conference on Molecular Rotors, Motors and Switches

Abstract

The proposal will support the Molecular Rotors, Motors, and Switches conference in July 2016, in Telluride, CO. The proposed conference will focus on molecules that reversibly change their properties and structures in response to external stimuli. Specific topics areas include: mechanically interlocked molecules; surface bound/adsorbed molecules; bulk switchable materials; switchable biomedical systems; and molecular rotors. The conference will bring together highly established experts in the fields of chemistry, materials, and physics to discuss the current state-of-the-art. The limited attendance will maximize opportunities to establish collaborations and have insightful discussions.
