ARO BAA W911NF-12-R-0012-03, Research Area 6.1 Condensed Matter Physics: Topological Heterostructures

Abstract

The purpose of the proposed study is to theoretically and quantitative describe the properties of, and conditions necessary for, the proximity effect between (a) a superconductor and a Weyl semimetal and (b) a superconductor and a quantum Hall edge state in graphene. The studies will employ the diagrammatic approach and Green functions techniques to achieve the stated objectives.
