COMPROIC: Computational ROIC Tradeoffs

Abstract

Digital processing and functionality in the readout circuits is growing rapidly. The front end is the dominant source of electronic noise for an in-pixel digital design. Random telegraph signal or noise (RTS/RTN) is the largest component of electronic noise and is expected to increase at more advanced nodes. The focus of the work is the noise modeling, in particular RTN, for mixed signal design on advanced nodes.
