Symposium ES13 - Interfaces and Interphases in Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion

Abstract

This symposium brought together materials scientists, chemists, physicists, theorists, and engineers to discuss the status and future perspectives, including existing and upcoming challenges and opportunities, in the field of electrolytes for electrochemical energy storage and to create new ideas and collaborations to address those challenges. The goal was to promote scientific exchange and to advance science discovery and engineering innovation. ARO funds supported invited speakers from academia, many of whom have limited funds available for travel to conferences to present their scientific research and to network with experts in their field. Funds also supported student presenters.
