IEEE International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology - ELNANO - 2017
Abstract
The conference is a regular annual forum, which provides opportunity to discuss research topics between the Ukrainian and international scientists and engineers in the field of microelectronics, nanoelectronics, nanotechnologies, microwaves, remote sensing, biomedical applications, signal processing, and electronic systems. Traditional venue of the conference is the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" (NTUU-KPI) in Kiev. It is organized jointly by the IEEE Ukraine Section and several IEEE Chapters of this Section. The conference will be held on April 18-20, 2017. Both well-known professionals and post-graduate students from Europe, America and Asia traditionally participate in the conference. Attendance is estimated between 120 and 150 participants from Ukraine, the EU, the USA, and other countries. Objective of ELNAN0-2017 is to provide a platform for the Ukrainian scientists to meet their Western colleagues in wide area of micro and nanoelectronics, associated technologies, and applications. The conference will review state-of-the-art and cover achievements in such frontier topics as nanostructures and nanotechnologies in electronics, nanotechnology in biomedicine, modem technology and computation techniques, radar systems, signal processing, and others. Its characteristic feature is a stronger emphasis on the mathematical, physical and technological aspects of research and development, together with search for applications significant to today s Ukraine. The technical program traditionally consists of invited lectures and contributed papers. The previous conferences were successfully held in Kiev since 1981 as all-USSR conferences and then as Ukrainian national conferences with Russian and Ukrainian as working languages. Starting from 2013, the International Conference ELNANO adopted English as single working language and gained support of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). ELNAN0-2014, -2015, and -2016 were held in the complicated circumstances of Russian aggression, occupation of Donbas area, and annexation of the Crimea however still were able to attract considerable participation. They were supported by ERO in 2014 and 2015. Primary sponsor and organizer is IEEE Ukraine Section. It is technically supported by the IEEE Central Ukraine ED/MTT/COM/CPMT/SSC Joint Chapter, IEEE Central Ukraine SP/AES Joint Chapter, IEEE Ukraine EMBS Chapter, and IEEE AP/MTT/ED/AES/GRS/NPS/EMB East Ukraine Joint Chapter. Other collaborating and supporting organizations are NTUU-KPI, V.Y. Lashkariov Institute of Semiconductor Physics NASU, National Aviation University, and Institute for Single Crystals NASU. Proceedings of ELNANO conferences are submitted to the IEEEXplore Digital Library as well as indexed in the Abstracting and Indexing databases (Scopus, Google Scholar, etc). ELNAN0-2017 will be held at NTUU-KPI in Kiev. The plenary sessions will be organized in the Main Hall of the old building of NTUU-KPI. The sessions of ELNAN0-2017 will be held in the building of the Scientific Library of NTUU-KPI, where conference rooms and presentation facilities are available.
