Multi-Agent Estimation and Decision-Making

Abstract

A major open problem to which this project is directed is to devise a resilient method for correctly estimating the state of a linear dynamical system from a family of measurements distributed across a network. A specific goal aimed at solving this problem is to develop a distributed observer which is capable of generate an asymptotically correct estimate of state, at a pre-assigned rate and which is capable of functioning correctly even in the face of nodal or link loss across the network.
