Mean Field Games on Graphs

Abstract

Motivated by the challenges of the search for equilibria in large networks, the PI proposes the systematic development of a theory of mean field games and mean field control on finite sets and graphs in the presence of a major player (say an attacker) and a field of minor players (say the targets). In addition to its intellectual and scientific merit, the project will have broader impacts by integrating research, teaching and student training through initiatives, including but not limited to the development of material in the form of theoretical results and numerical toolkits for the analysis on mean field games on finite sets and graphs directed toward a broad scientific community.
