Deep Context-aware Discriminative Learning for Buried Threat Detection: single sensor processing and multi-sensor fusion

Abstract

The work proposed here is focused on utilizing a data from wide variety of sensor platforms utilized for subsurface sensing, and developing machine learning algorithms in order to detect buried threats. Data from side-looking systems will also be processed if requested by the sponsor. Algorithms to process data from both handheld and large array systems will be developed.
