Modified Thermal Density of States in III-V Semiconductor Compounds via Thermocrystals for the Inhibition of R-G Recombination

Abstract

Using newly developed methods to control the density of states of thermal vibrations (thermocrystals) the goal is to design, fabricate, and test III-V semiconductor compounds possessing reduced density of states for thermal phonons.
