Towards the Synthesis of Zirconium-based Metal-Organic Frameworks in Water at Room Temperature

Abstract

The objective of this effort is to develop protocols for the synthesis of Zr-MOF(s) in water an elevated temperature; augmentation of the synthesis in aqueous environment and room temperature, and development of synthetic protocols of Zr-MOFs with multitopic (i.e. beyond ditopic) organic linkers in organic medium at room temperature and water at elevated temperatures.
