59th Sanibel Symposium in Honor of Klaus Ruedenberg

Abstract

The 59th Sanibel Symposium on Quantum Chemistry, Dynamics, Condensed Matter and Materials Physics is organized once again by the University of Florida s Quantum Theory Project. It will be held from February 14th to February 19th, 2019 on St. Simons Island, GA at King and Prince Hotel with 160 scientists in attendance. The conference included 46 lectures presented in 9 plenary and 5 invited sessions. Plenary and invited sessions covered important progress in the core areas of Electronic Structure Theory. In addition to poster presentations, the new Sanibel format allows for up to thirty 15-minute oral presentations (add how many), chosen as hot-topics, to allow more opportunity for collaborative learning and discussion among Symposium attendees. The proceedings of the meeting will be published in Molecular Physics and edited by Prof. Rodney Bartlett.
