SupraBio 2019: International Symposium on Suprabiomolecular Systems, 6th Edition
Abstract
Recent developments in the field of suprabiomolecular chemistry have shown the immense potential of the resulting systems to contribute to a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines, ranging from fundamental bioorganic chemistry to soft matter, and from chemistry to biology and medicine. SupraBio 2019 will focus on future directions and frontiers of fundamental researches involving Supramolecular Chemistry, Biomaterials and Bioconjugates self-assembly. Supramolecular systems offer efficient approaches for numerous applications in the areas of soft materials featuring responsive properties, or biomedical investigations (drug delivery, controlled release, tissue engineering, bioprinting etc). In the future, these promising systems will very likely provide tools to nano-fabrication and nano-manipulation for the development of advanced technology in the field of biomedical applications. This sixth edition of the SupraBio focuses on the transversal nature of supramolecular chemistry, by offering an international forum on the latest advances in the field from basic to applied research. Objective: the symposium will be attended by around 200 leading international academic experts in the field of suprabiomolecular and nano chemistry.
