27th Conference on Current Trends in Computational Chemistry

Abstract

The 27th Conference on Current Trends in Computational Chemistry (CCTCC) began with a series starting in 1992 by a grant from the Army High Performance Computational Research Center (AHPCRC) and supported by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Today, the 27th CCTCC continues as a forum for computational chemists for transfer of information and discussion with their colleagues working in academia and industry. Talks will be led by the following 27th CCTCC speakers: Roberto Car (Princeton University), Jack Wells (Oak Ridge National Laboratory), Adriana Pietropaolo (University of Catanzaro, Catanzaro, Italy), Masha Niv (Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel), Filippo De Angelis (Computational Laboratory for Hybrid Organic Photovoltaics, CNR-ISTM, Italy), Feliciano Giustino (University of Oxford, UK), Adam P. Willard (MIT), Dean J. Tantillo (University of California, Davis), Todd J. Martinez (Stanford University), Beno”t Roux (University of Chicago), Rommie Amaro (University of California, San Diego), Perla Balbuena (Texas A&M University), Kim Baldridge (University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland and Tianjin University, Tianjin, China), and Annika Bande (Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin fur Materialien und Energie, Berlin, Germany). Discussions on cutting-edge trends impacting the field of computational chemistry serve as a platform to maximize and strengthen collaborations between partnering agencies, Jackson State University (JSU), the HBCU community, and the scientific community at-large.
