Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells & Electrolyzers 22 (PEFC&E22)

Abstract

The 22nd Symposium on Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells & Electrolyzers (PEFC&E22) takes place at the 242nd meeting of The Electrochemical Society (ECS) in Atlanta, Georgia (U.S.), from October 9-13, 2022. Participating in PEFC&E22 inspires young scientists to pursue or continue careers in the field. The symposium brings together the international community working on polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) and electrolysis systems, enables effective interactions between research and engineering communities, and spotlights important research. Six sessions cover all the critical aspects of research, development, and engineering of PEFC and electrolysis systems: (i) Diagnostics/Characterization Methods and Membrane Electrode Design; (ii) Cells, Stacks, and Systems; (iii) Ion-Exchange Membrane Performance and Durability; (iv) Catalysts for Acidic Fuel Cells; (v) Materials for Alkaline Fuel Cells; and (vi) Polymer-Electrolyte Electrolysis.
