Organization of the 5th European Conference on Metal Organic Frameworks and Porous Polymers, September 24-27, 2023 in Granada, Spain.
Abstract
We are applying for support to the organization of the 5th European Conference on Metal Organic Frameworks and Porous Polymers. The field of metal-organic frameworks and related materials is evolving at a very fast pace as a consequence of high expectations of this kind of materials for solving paramount problems of our current and future society. The main objective of the Conference is to showcase the state of the art and future challenges of this field of research. In this regard, we are also organizing a Young investigator symposium to help the future shaping of this field. The Conference Venue is the Granada Conference Center located in Granada downtown, Spain. We have organized the event around 11 thematic sessions covering all aspects of reticulated materials from synthesis up to industrial applications. We will count on the support of the Universidad de Granada (Prof. Jorge A. R. Navarro, co-Chair) and Institute Catalan of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (Prof. Daniel Maspoch, co-Chair), European Chemical Society (EuChemS) and Dechema. The Conference results will be documented in a Book of Abstract as well as a brief summary of the statistics of the meeting.
