Quantum Error Correction Under Control

Abstract

This proposal addresses the interplay between quantum control theory (QCT) and quantum error correction (QEC), with the explicit goals of improving the robustness of QEC against uncertainty, and the discovery of new and more efficient QEC codes informed by the tools of QCT. At the same time, the aim is also to discover novel QCT results informed by the principles of QEC theory.
