Abstract

Objectives: • Specific Aim 1. Quantify the effect of uncorrected refractive error on a soldier’s ability to quickly and accurately identify a target and shoot if necessary, while recognizing that optimal visual ability is necessary for maximal accuracy on a shooting task. • Specific Aim 2. Create a reference that will guide eye care providers and allow soldiers to gain maximal visual ability for optimal shooting performance.
