Phase II: Evaluation of Natural Gas, High Efficiency Building Energy Technologies for Illinois

Abstract

The objective of the full proposal is to identify, test, and evaluate both new and underutilized natural gas technologies with the most promising potential to achieve cost effective energy savings and enhance energy security in existing military facilities. The proposed work scope focuses on the preliminary review and analytical evaluation of six (6) viable Emerging Technologies (ETs). Activities included within the scope most closely conforms to the definition of development: " the systematic use of scientific and technical knowledge in the design, development, testing or evaluation of a potential new product or service (or of an improvement in an existing product or service) to meet specific performance requirements of objectives
