Network Infrastructure Transformation-1
Abstract
Continues to update the AF DCGS network transport and platform as a service (PaaS) architecture to a cyber-resilient, open, scalable, commercial-based, architecture, improving data ingest, transfer, and storage capabilities, collaboration, and content driven discovery. AF DCGS Platform as a Service (PaaS) consists of a mix of private on-premises and public commercial cloud architecture to meet mission-assured requirements. AF DCGS leverages Unclassified, Secret and Top Secret Air Force commercial cloud environments. Network infrastructure transformation also handles integration of ground line of sight capabilities supporting ISR airborne platform assets as well as ongoing/planned efforts to converge the Air Operations Center, DCGS and Targeting into a federated, digital infrastructure.
