Abstract
((U) Enhance analysis tool integration through continued development of the Leading Edge Architecture Prototype Ships (LEAPS) which allows for transparent data flow between ship synthesis and analysis models. Enhance the Advanced Ship and Submarine Evaluation Tool (ASSET) to incorporate new technology, allow rapid design and incorporation of modern systems engineering methods. Early stage ship design tools in the areas of hydrodynamic analysis, human systems integration and survivability will be updated and enhanced.
