Central Lab Investment Program (CLIP)
Abstract
This effort seeks to address infrastructure gaps within the Department’s Laboratory community by establishing a dedicated funding stream for the DoD’s laboratories to address infrastructure issues, including facility planning, design, construction, sustainment repair, and/or modernization. In addition, CLIP could be used to acquire advanced equipment and tools, enabling the laboratories to devote their RDT&E funding to critical research and development and offset their sustainment, repair, and modernization (SRM) funding gap.
