Sensors for Adaptive Armor
Abstract
This effort matures and demonstrates sensor technology to enable an adaptive armor system using the MAPS Framework and Controller on a combat vehicle platform. This effort matures real-time processing software, continuously refines the threat trajectory prediction algorithm and integrates sensors with an adaptive countermeasure for threat defeat to the MAPS Framework and Controller to ensure the activation of adaptive armor to protect against incoming threats.
