B-52 VLF/LF Modernization

Abstract

The B-52 Very Low Frequency (VLF)/Low Frequency (LF) effort integrates a receive-only, VLF/LF receiver and antenna subsystem to provide a secure, survivable strategic nuclear communication capability for the B-52. This project will consist of integrating an existing VLF/LF terminal into the B-52. Integration includes Group A wiring, rack and antenna, and the Group B terminal Line Replaceable Unit (LRU).
