Abstract

This effort designs, models, validates, and optimizes advanced materials (such as ceramic, composite, polymers, lightweight and high-strength metals) including processing techniques for protection against smaller but more lethal penetrators/warheads using affordable, lightweight, high performance armaments for revolutionary weapons effectiveness in urban and irregular operations.
