Living Materials
Abstract
Research the concept of responsive materials imparting living functions for operation in Army relevant environments thus enabling disruptive capabilities, such as self-healing, adaptation, protection, and situational awareness. Perform research to enable design and synthesis of materials both enabled by and including biological entities to provide these living functions.
