Quantitative Crisis Response (QCR)

Abstract

The Quantitative Crisis Response (QCR) program is developing digital tools that can help operational partners better understand how information is being used by adversaries, and predict and assess the effects of adversary information campaigns and of countermeasures quantitatively, in real time, and at scale. The anticipated tools will be able to assess population-scale radicalization and other potential effects of the information being traded through social media and other communications channels. QCR is coordinated with multiple national security agencies, Combatant Commands, and the Department of State.
