Advanced Low Velocity Airdrop System (ALVADS) - Light and Heavy
Abstract
ALVADS - Light and Heavy are capable of airdrop operations at an altitude down to 750-ft Above Ground Level (AGL) for ALVADS-L and 975-ft AGL for ALVADS-H, while retaining the objective altitude of 500-ft AGL for both with increased aircraft survivability, and improved accuracy. Light-Gross rigged weight of 2,520-22,000 lbs and Heavy-Gross rigged weight of 22,001-42,000 lbs.
