Photonics and Opto-Electronic devices

Abstract

This effort investigates and evaluates novel photonic components and architectures to enable detection of hazardous substances for enhanced Soldier situational awareness and survivability. In addition, this effort develops and assesses the hybridization of opto-electronic (OE) devices with electronics for optical fuze applications.
