F135 Aircraft Engine Improvement Program
Abstract
The Aircraft Engine CIP provides the only source of critical developmental engineering support for F-35 propulsion systems to maintain flight safety for this single-engine fighter, correct service revealed deficiencies, improve system OR and R&M, reduce engine LCC, and sustain engines throughout their service life. Funds may be used to address emerging and short-notice DMSMS issues.
