Cursor on Target (CoT)

Abstract

Cursor on Target (CoT) is an extensible, 'What, When, Where' (W3) XML message format for interconnecting Command, Control, Communication & Computer (C4), intelligence, surveillance & reconnaissance (ISR) systems. The Cursor on Target (CoT) suite consists of the W3 base schema, 14 tailored sub-schemas, and a set of 10 software plug-ins and translators that faciliate machine to machine (M2M) transmission of Command and Control (C2), intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and situational awareness data at reduced cost compared with traditional integration methods.
