Military Traumatic Brain Injury Initiative (MTBI2) Formerly Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (USUHS)

Abstract

The Military Traumatic Brain Injury Initiative (MTBI2) formerly the Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (CNRM) is an interdisciplinary research group focused on military-relevant traumatic brain injury (TBI). MTBI2 (formerly CNRM) involves the Uniformed Services University (USU), the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and multiple collaborators. MTBI2 (formerly CNRM) includes over 30 senior scientific investigators, 80 skilled staff members, and active research at greater than 10 locations in the Washington D.C. area and throughout the United States.
