End-Cryptographic Unit (ECU)
Abstract
Develop and deliver the National Security Agency (NSA)-certified ECUs required for secure strategic communications encryption in the ESS payloads, bus, and payload test terminals in accordance with the approved ECU acquisition strategy and schedule. Upon development completion, production ECU units will be delivered as government-furnished equipment (GFE) for integration and testing with the ESS payloads and payload test terminals.
