Warfighter Analytics using Smartphones for Health (WASH)

Abstract

The Warfighter Analytics using Smartphones for Health (WASH) program is developing analytic techniques for continuous and real-time assessment of warfighter activities based on the multiple sensor data streams generated by modern smartphones. Smartphone sensors provide a rich source of information that can be used to identify a user's activities and environment and also provide a proximity detection capability. WASH will create a scalable proximity detection capability that addresses strong privacy considerations.
