Cooperative Follow-on System
Abstract
Perform studies to identify potential paths foward for a new Idetification Friend or Foe (IFF) system. Evaluate weakness in the current Mode 5 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system to inform required research areas. Establish transition path for current production/support to next generation cooperative system or systems. Continue evaluation of technologies necessary to employ operational useful next generation cooperative identification systems in conjunction with current system.
