High Frequency Modernization

Abstract

Replace legacy HF radio with a modernized HF radio on KC-135 aircraft. A modernized HF communications capability is necessary to enable future sustainability and growth to operate in SATCOM-denied scenarios while maintaining global, secure voice and data between MAF aircraft and command and control (C2) agencies to exchange classified information.
